How many times have you thought this: If God wants to move me to a new level or to a new opportunity why doesn’t he show it as a normal transitional process? Why do we feel as if He’s pushing us? If those are levels I’ve always dreamt of, desired, and even received confirmation by God himself, why I am invaded with doubt when my time to move shows up?
Many times I have gone through hard and painful transitional moments. I have read many times verses like Joshua 1:9: “I've commanded you to be strong and brave. Don't ever be afraid or discouraged! I am the LORD your God, and I will be there to help you wherever you go” (CEV).
I don’t expect to have all the answers, but my constant longing is to know God in a way that I could move in total faith that He is taking care of me. I want my mind to be in peace, because when I’m aligned with his Word, either the decisions I make or the situations that happen to me are part of his plan for my life.
Doubt is the path to strengthen our faith. Is in that path where we will make decisions that include some kind of risk. In the natural world we face the risk with planning, analysis, and action. In the spiritual world we do with prayer, faith in God’s promise for our lives, and total dependence of Him.
God promises a glorious finale, but our decisions are the ones that will make the way. They are the result of our way of thinking, which is the result of our synchronization with God and His Word.
Only then I’ll be able to say: My dream is not dead! It is alive, very close, and it will come to pass.
